Join with Copenhagen Imports and Tucson Modernism Week for for the opening reception of a special furniture exhibit of the designs of Max Gottschalk.
Mid-Century Modern furniture is timeless, an emotional counterpoint to the ornamentation of the past. The work of Tucson’s industrial designer Max Gottschalk was a rebellion. Iron and leather, dynamic curves, and a love of form created furniture pieces that are coveted by today’s collectors. This exhibition is in tandem with a new essay published in the Tucson Modernism Week Magazine presenting a context perspective on Gottschalk’s work.
This special Tucson Modernism Week exhibit is made possible through the generous support of Copenhagen Imports.
This event will include food, drinks and music.
