Exhibition Opening & Party: Copenhagen Party and Giorgio Belloli Exhibit OpeningLOCATION: Copenhagen Imports: 3660 E. Fort Lowell Join with Copenhagen Imports and Tucson Modernism Week for for the opening reception of a special furniture exhibit of the designs of Giorgio Belloli. Mid-Century Modern furniture is timeless, an emotional counterpoint to the ornamentation of the past. The work of Tucson’s industrial designer Max Gottschalk was a rebellion. Iron and leather, dynamic curves, and a love of form created furniture pieces that are coveted by today’s collectors. Simplicity, elegance, ingenuity, modernism—these are some of the hallmarks of Belloli’s work in Tucson. Bringing creativity to the quotidian and believing that a renewed emphasis on art would enrich lives and create harmony in the home. This exhibition is in tandem with a new essay published in the Tucson Modernism Week Magazine presenting a context perspective on Belloli's work. This special Tucson Modernism Week exhibit is made possible through the generous support of Copenhagen Imports. This event will include food, drinks and music.
