EXHIBITION | Max Gottschalk: Furniture
Mid-Century Modern furniture is timeless, an emotional counterpoint to the ornamentation of the past. The work of Tucson’s industrial designer Max Gottschalk was a rebellion. Iron and leather, dynamic curves, and a love of form is today coveted by collectors. This exhibition in tandem with a new essay published in the Tucson Modernism Week Magazine presents a context perspective on Gottschalk's work. This special Tucson Modernism Week exhibit is made possible through the generous support of Copenhagen Imports. Join Copenhagen and Tucson Modernism Week for a reception Thursday October 11, 6:00pm to 8:00Pm celebrating the furniture of Max Gottschalk. This event will include Food, Drinks and Music.
